Weep not for Me

Weep not for me
For I shall not be long
In this place of rest
With angels singing songs

I am a moment away
In the twinkling of an eye
At the sound of the trump
When time is bye and bye

Weep not for me
For love is near at hand
He walks with me forever
And Jesus is his name

For all the days I wonder
If all I've done is enough
Then comes the answer I cherish
Jesus has filled me up

Weep not for me
The truth in life is learned
The answer for your questions
Are in Jesus here on earth

Be given to this truth
And heaven surely waits
For all who call upon the name
Of God's love and grace

Jesus

Listen to the Wind

Of all the words of men
Spoken by enemy or friend
Those who seek for peace
Are found in grace complete

A word subtle and new
A silence resounding in truth
The presence of God imbued
In the quiet of the wind renewed

Therefore listen to the wind
God may be found within
As a humble and gentle voice
As that love offered thru choice

Be given to seek this truth
In all who?s breath is used
To share the news and Joys
Of Jesus and the love he employed

This weekend, we Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving! God has given me so much to be thankful for---I wouldn't know where to begin. Stepping outside to view God's autumn mosaic of colors, and smelling the crisp (yes, cold)air is most invigorating these days. He has given us life, halelujah!

Yes, being sensitve to the needs of your family is primary for all christians. attend church at the leading of the Spirit some of us actually perfer the atmosphere of the "House" to the chaos we find in the world especially older singles, like myself. I have been writing for years and have hundreds of poems which have disappeared or otherwise gone. I do now keep the ones I have written in my 'puter I have about 50 at this time so there is lots to share. Stay in touch

Thank you, that what you said about my ministry being my family---that's exactly what a charismatic preist told me several years ago, when I mentioned I found it difficult to attend church more often. I found humor in your profile and was going to mention it, that it covers just about anyone who is logged on here. My sense of humor has resurfaced after a couple of years of, shall I say, leave of absence.
When I was younger, I found it a challenge to sit and read the bible, but now I find that if I read short daily portions it is much easier. When the Lord really touches your heart and changes it, it changes you. One thing I still don't understand is why I can't remember where in the bible certain scriptures are. My husband had the knack for in an instant, quoting a scripture and stating where it could be found---what memory! Then there's my 19 year old son--he soaks up hockey trivia like you wouldn't believe. He sure doesn't get that from me!
I guess I'm just a simple country gal and I live what's on my heart. My children are getting up to get ready for school, so I will talk to you later. God keep you. Here is a picture of my favorite from a car show I recently went to. I need to figure out how to set the date on my camera so that it stays on the current date.

Thanks for your response I wasn't too familiar with my intro? I thought it was funny gave away an insight into my humor. the fish is a bass about a ten pounder. I have caught him twice, this was the first time hence the photo. Your ministry is your family and the example of Christ you are to them. Then anybody who is interested in you will be drawn by your love and be discovered by you like me. I am sure Jesus is in command of everything, that is why it distresses me to hear how we have disappointed him [in some circles] the world IS going to [ ]in a hand basket but not the christians so what is the problem remember without him we couldn't do the meager works we now do, so what is the problem ? sorry i get a little upset about some stuff. I have been writing for years, i was visiting a web site and came across an article of St. Theresa[Mother Theresa] to some, it was interesting but it didn't address the context of her struggle nor the resolution so i wrote a response doing both. Jesus made me do it he knows how much i like to drone on and on. Well I'm Toast. hope to hear from you again.

Good morning Graciouscare. I am pleased to meet you. I am amazed daily by the work of God. I appreciate the poem you have posted. How long has this been a passion for you? I myself have written only 2 poems, and have joined a local writers group, but am not able to attend meetings as I am busy with my 4 children most evenings. It is good to hear that you are willing to share the word of God on various sitesWhat a brave soul you are! . They have lots of things happening in their ministry.
I appreciate what is in your profile. It would be great to correspond without any expectancy of physical intimacy! I look forward to more of your comments.
It's obvious I don't fish. That's quite a catch in your photo--what kind of fish is it?
